My name is Makenna Bentley; I am a future graduate of Orange Lutheran High School from Orange County, California. I have been high jumping for three years. I love to compete on the field and strive for academic success in the classroom. I have improved my PR by 4 inches this season resulting in a PR of 5’2”. I hope to accomplish more, achieve a new personal record and devote myself fully in order to reach my full potential before graduation day in 2016.
Equally important to me are my academics; I currently have a 4.2 GPA. I wish to attend a college where I can continue to improve my high jumping skills and be challenged in the classroom. I would like to find a program that will challenge me so I can realize my full potential that is seen by my coaches and professors. I have worked hard taking honors classes throughout high school, and will continue to do so, to greater improve my chances of attending a college of my choice.
I want to be a leader on and off the track, setting an example to those around me. I believe with my determination and dedication I can achieve anything. Thank you for investing the time to learn more about me.
Best Regards,
Makenna Bentley
