I fell in love with sprinting and being involved with the track team the end of my 9th grad year. The first full year of track was in 2015 as a sophomore. This was a turning point for me as I became confident this was the sport I wanted to be involved in throughout collage and after. I realize, I still have a lot to learn but with hard work, discipline, and the drive I have within , I will succeed!
My educational plan is to explore a Secondary Education major that will position me well for a future. On the track, I plan to be a dynamic individual and team player and carry a positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college track career, I will strive to be an asset to the whole team. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the track, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
