My goal is to be an example on and off the field in both academics and in athletics. To do this it requires discipline, focus,a vision, execution of your plan, and sacrifice. You must be willing to make changes in your life.A leader needs to lead by example and display character in every situation.I must be teachable and willing improve myself daily.I am person who likes to encourage or congratulate my teammates or competitors whenever the opportunity arises.I am looking forward to being one of the girls captains for this coming cross country season.
Being an athlete scholar requires a balance between academics and athletics.Living a life of a runner requires sacrifice and giving up some things I love to do for the goal that I want to accomplish.I must prioritize my time each day,eat healthy and hydrate, take care of myself after each workout, get to bed on time each night which is the key to staying healthy.I must review my goals and actions on a daily basis to make sure I stay focus with both school and running.I also have added Yoga and Pilates into my training to improve my flexibility, strength and to prevent any injuries.
