I have been running since I was in the fourth grade at the age of 10 I saw track as a fun sport to keep me in shape and keep me busy while I waited for basketball season to come back. Little did I know that I would fall so in love with everything the sport gave me from the pain to the glory. Since my freshman year I have been training to improve my speed, blocks, and strength, from the practices to the off season training I discovered that I could run at the collegiate level and further my passion and learn more from the people who knew it best.
I am very coachable and accept new challenges I believe that I am a team leader because I love helping people and pushing them past their limits to show them their better than what they believe they are. I always put my team first and believe that in order for your team to improve it starts with leadership and believing in them.
I have been a 3.13 student all year long and also participate in many things in and outside of campus. I am a proud member of the school’s Sports Medicine, Fitness and BSU club while also being the security of the Cross-County club. I have participated in the school’s senior dance, volunteered to help serve at the Applebee’s breakfast hosted by Manteca High’s girls’ basketball team and also putting together the junior high track meets at Manteca High.
Over all, I want a once and a life time experience to continue what I love to do that not many people get to do after high school. I want to prove that I am a hard worker on and off the track and strive to do and give my best. I want to attend a college that will challenge me and push me to the next level. I am open to anywhere but to the most completive level to better myself. I want to make my mark on my life and yours and also to make my parents proud.
