When I started High School my Freshman year, I didn’t know anyone at the school. I was trying a lot of different school related activities and, since the Track & Field coach asked me to come out, I gave it a try too. The people on the team were very nice and I quickly made friends with several of them. Being on the team also made me realize I could accomplish more than I thought if I’m willing to push myself. I have stayed with the Track team because of the people and because I want to see how far I can go, which is why I want to continue running track in college. I’ve always found track people to be very friendly, even opponents, and I want to continue to meet friendly people in college. I also want to continue to push myself and see how far I can go and how fast I can be.
My ultimate goal is to be a physical therapist. Therefore, I want to study the biological sciences and especially exercise sciences such as physiology or kinesiology that can lead to an advanced degree in Physical Therapy.
