Brittney Martinez '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello there I hope you are doing swell :) I am Brittney Martinez from Downey High School. I am currently a junior who's 5'1" and 95 lbs. I am hoping to pursue and excel in my academics as well as my athletic abilities. My preferred major would be in the science department and I am hoping to further my knowledge in that field and later make a career out of it. Academics are number one for me and I challenge myself no matter how hard the criteria.

Since I have been running competitively for about 3 years now, I have grown a real love for what I do. Running is a challenge, but it has taught me and gotten me through so much. I am a competitor and I know what I am capable of. If I'm not where I need to be then I will work that much harder to get there. I hope to attend a school where I can not only excel in the classroom but as an athlete as well. Running is apart of my lifestyle now and a day without it is set back. I hope the college I attend will help me grow as a person and as an athlete.
