Hi, I am currently a Senior at Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, California and I am interested in attending college/university and participating in Track & Field. I have a PR in the Discus with a throw of 123' 4.00 and 33' 5.00 in Shot-put. Last year as a Junior in 2012, I took 1st place in Discus and 2nd place at the 2012 Mesa League Track & Field Final and subsequently automatically advanced to San Diego CIF Track & Field Qualifier & Finals and placed 6th overall in San Diego CIF Track & Field D1 Girls Discus. Since October 2012, I am working with a personal throw trainer, current U.S. Olympian Jarred Rome in Discus/Shot-put. Jarred has developed a specialized program to improve my overall strength, endurance and technique. I am a hard worker who is dedicated to helping my team succeed by learning all I can from my coaches. At this time I am open to all colleges that can provide an opportunity to participate in track while I earn my college degree. I am excited about throwing in the future and look forward to getting the best education I can while continuing with track and field. Additionaly I am a two-sport athlete who has been involved with Track & Field and Volleyball at the Varsity level since Freshman year. I have listed my 2012 Track & Field Highlights which can be validated on Athletic.Net Track & Field website.
