I am a hard working student who has achieved a 4.0 G.P.A since the fifth grade, because of this it has driven me to achieve and work for anything I want. I have always tried to involve myself with sports and my community and pride myself in the fact that I have fulfilled countless hours of community service. Helping has always been a passion of mine which has helped me to narrow down my major to medicine. I love to involve myself with my church and even went on a missions trip all the way to Ghana, Africa. Not only am I involved in my church but also in some of the clubs at my school, I am in the Concert Choir at my school and i involve myself in a lot of the volunteer fundraisers, and as well the C.O.C. club at my school (Christians on Campus). Sports-wise, I didn't join track until my freshman year and that is really when I found my passion in life, I loved running and because of times and coach comments, I am believed to be a great runner. I would like to say that I am fast and hard worker, and easy to coach. I have just joined long jump and have reached 17 feet and 6 inches at the Sac-Joaquin Division 4-5 Section meet. My overall growth development in long jump has been a tremendous journey. I first started long jump sophomore year with 13 feet, and have so far gotten to 17 feet, a 4 foot overall PR. I hope to get close to 20 feet by my senior year or in college. In sprints as well I broke 13 seconds and got into the 12 seconds with an automatic PR time of 12.54a. I hope to be at the low 12 seconds by my senior year, and hopefully into the 11 seconds when I get into college. Overall, track is my passion and I would love to pursue it in college.
