I have been throwing discus and shot put since junior high and since I have realized that throwing is my passion. I desire to continue throwing at a collegiate level so that I can better my skills. I feel that at a collegiate level, I would not just learn more about the art and history of throwing, but also become the best thrower I could be. I aspire to better my techniques, to become useful to a collegiate track team, and to excel in throwing.
I am a good candidate for a collegiate team because not only am I outstanding on the field, I am also outstanding in the classroom. I have a high GPA and tend to be one of the best students in my classes. I am dedicated to athletics and academics, which I feel is crucial to getting into college. I am strong, competitive, a leader, and take throwing very seriously. I want to continue throwing at a higher level of training to become the best I can be, and I feel that I need to attend a college that fits my needs, is competitive, and that helps me reach my goals on and off the field. I am open to all options of colleges, but desire the best!
I am well rounded, very coachable, and come from a Christian family. As I was brought up, my mother always told me to strive for the best, and with God, all things are possible. I believe that if I work hard enough to accomplish my goals, one of them being on a collegiate team, nothing can stop me from being the best at anything that I do. (:
