I'm very excited to start off my Senior year of High School! I had a very disappointing Junior year due to shin splints and extremely low iron. My coach wanted me to stop training in April to begin recovery for this XC season. I've been building up my endurance through a lot of cross training and have been slowly adding in running. I will be using my races in Sept as temp runs and am hoping to start competing in October.
I haven't lost my love for running! I'm really looking forward to being able to run all out! I have big goals especially for this years track season.
I am confident I will be able to contribute both as a scorer in college and a team inspirational leader. I've received awards through the years not only as MVP, but also Most Dedicated and Most Inspirational. I love my teammates and always look for ways to encourage them and draw out the best in them. I love having fun and running happy; but the most important thing to me is to be with girls who want to work hard and win!
