Ever since I picked up a racquet, I knew the sport of tennis was for me. One of my goals in life is to to play college tennis. I currently compete at a sectional and national level with the USTA. ThIs level of competition has given me the much needed experience to be a successful college tennis player. I also had the privilege of playing in the USTA's super national tournament in the girls 12's and 16's. I am currently a junior at The Ursuline School in New Rochelle, New York. This past fall I played #3 singles for the team and my team won section championships. For the past two years, I've been undefeated in my position. I had the privilege of playing the #2 spot this year, twice. In both matches, I came out with wins. I've been on the court since I was eight, and I've been competing since I was nine. I'm independent, a leader, and a hard worker. I would like to go to college where I'm challenged both academically and on the court. Academically, I am an excellent student with a 4.1 GPA dedicated to my studies when I'm not on the court. I would like to stay on the east coast, preferably in the northeast region. Given the fact that I am only a junior, I am keeping all my opportunities open on what type of college I want to attend. I would like to be a pediatrician. I'd love the opportunity to play singles or doubles as a freshman in college. I would be a tremendous asset to any coach; I'm competitive, confident, and I'm also a lefty. Words that I live by: "Wherever you go, go with all your heart." ~Confucius
