As a little kid I was extremely shy and timid. Over the years I have become an independent, outspoken, and hard-working person. An example of my independence would be my travels to Peru for 3 weeks with people I did not know as well as attending a program at John Hopkins University for 10 days. I was forced to make new relationships quickly and get along with others. Everything I do is with 110%. I put my mind to something and I do it. Being an athlete is very important in my life. Playing sports is how I lost 50 lbs in 7th grade. Since then I have played basketball, volleyball, softball, and tennis. Out of all the sports tennis is my true love.On the court I go for everything even if it doesn't seem possible, I never give up. Some days I start playing at 9am and don't stop until 5pm. My goal is to always improve my game in anyway possible.Senior year I am only playing school varsity tennis and plan to compete in USTA tournaments. I only started in 8th grade and just started working with a private coach in the past year. Everyone talks about how quickly I have excelled in 4 years. My attentiveness and drive has helped me excel in all aspects of my life.
