Vipavee Ngamsiri '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Vipavee or just V for short. I was originally born in Thailand but moved to the U.S at the age of 4. I am currently a senior at Northeast Magnet High School in Wichita Kansas. I love to play sports and have done so my entire life. At age 7 I started playing basketball,  at 9 years old I started playing tennis, and at 12 I was a softball pitcher.  However, I have a passion for tennis and plan to play at the collegiate level. Whenever I'm not hitting the books I'm busy at the gym trying to improve my game. I am currently in the top quarter of my class with a 3.9 gpa.  I work hard on and off the courts whether it be at school or practice, I am ready for new challenges and oppurtunities. I am a dedicated, driven, and determined person. I will finish what I start and give 100%! I may not have a lot of USTA stats, but I am hard working and that cannot be summed into a rank or position. I finished 4th in the city last year and 5th at regionals. I hope by playing tennis at the collegiate level I will gain new experiences, make new friends, get a good education, and further improve my tennis skills. I plan on majoring in nursing or pre-medicine in college and pursuing a career in pediatrics at medical school. I have loved helping people since I was young . I hope that tennis will help in fulfilling my aspiration. I am open to all colleges and universities and I am ready to make the commitment.
