Personal Statement

In sixth grade, I found I have a major love for sciece and have always wanted to become an engineer. As I entered High School,  realized I had a major talent for computer and passion too, so I thought I want to be a computer engineer. I also realized I have a passion for Film and Video Production, with my compter skills and artistic abilities, I have suceeded well also making me have a desire to suceed in that.

As far as tennis, my dad introdiced me in 8th grade, and I found an immediate passion. I have done so well in the past few years, and have led our team to leagu champs this year, which is a huge honor! I hope to play tennis for the rest of my life for the sport and social aspects.

Academic Accomplishments

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. I have taken Honor Classes since I was a Freshman. My favorite quote is "I love a challenge" so that is what I continue to live by. I have taken H. Biology, H. Chemistry, H. Human Anatomy, H. English 9 +10 and H. Geometry.
Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. Right now I am taking AP Language for 11th grade, and first semester I got an A. I do plan on taking more AP classes.

Awards and Activities

  • AwardsIn Junior High: I got an award for Best Cook in my class of 600+ students (there is only one of these); an award for keeping all As in History and Science (I even got a 4.0 a few semesters.) and for perfect attendance. High School: I have been a part of National Honors Society for 2 years now, have 1 JV and 2 Varsity awards for tennis, 2 Athlete Scholar awards (3.5 or above), 2 Viking Valor Awards (for video production, best in my period, once a year), 2 Principle Awards (saying I have had a 3.5 or above), and I have made my Confirmation in the Catholic Church
  • ActivitiesSinging (I have been taking lessons since I was 8 years old and I am in my church choir, I have even recored 2 songs in a studio that are now on You Tube), Cooking (I am good at it, and have even gotten an award; it runs in the family), Volunteer Work (I have done over a 100 hours of community service total, and I am always happy to get involved), Film and Video Production (I like to make and edit films, and even made the video production team, VTV, at my school which is hard to get into), Computer (I am generally good at the computer and have been able to teach myself programs; I build websites, edit and create songs and movies and any other cool things. I have gotten a few jobs in the past six months with my talents, and worked with a few small business, making over a few hundred dollars); I have also been very involved in my Church (Catholic), Saint Kateri, and am involved their Life Teen program.
