Alexia Saigh '20 Recruiting Profile

I started playing tennis ever since I was big enough to hold a tennis racket at age 2 1/2.  My grandfather,  who was a tennis champ and Physics professor, was my first teacher.   I have loved playing ever since and have never stopped.  I have been part of USTA teams since I was little, participated in clinics through my country ♧ and played in tournaments.  The most fun I've had; however, has been being part of my high school's Varsity tennis team. I was selected as one of the only freshman team members. I played doubles with my sister and the team won our league both my freshman and sophomore years for the first time in 8 years.  We were MVPs, selected for All League, and also got to compete in the CIF Individual Tournaments.  It was thrilling to play among the best of the best players in Los Angeles. I enjoyed competing and giving it my all. Playing point by point and having the drive to know that I can win.
