I have been playing tennis for five years, and I'm striving to become a better player mentally, emotionally, and physically. I have gone through many struggles in my life emotionally and physically, and tennis has been my way to release. I feel I'm different from other players because I want to let people know that no matter what you go through, you can be good at anything when you set your mind to it. I aim high to become more competitive every day; even when I don't succeed in every match, I am always learning how to improve my game. When I go to college, I am considering the fashion and design (CAD) field. I have always been good academically; I am a focused and hard worker when it comes to my work, tennis, and volunteer work with our church and community. God has shown me that tennis can be a way of showing how remarkable He is; I hope to become a better person and tennis player everyday.
