Personal Statement

I am 5 ft. 7 in. and 120 lb.  My best events are 100 fly, 200 fly, 500 free, 1000 Free, and 1650 free.  In 100 Fly, I recently broke a minute during a meet for the first time.  During prelims of this meet I went a 59.66 and then during finals I went a 58.82.  This time makes the cut for American Short Course Champs in February and Senior Sectionals.  This time also made me the 100 Fly District Champ for the second year in a row. In March of 2012 I dropped 100 fly down to 57.60. I love swimming.  I need at least one dose of chlorine to get through my day.  I always support my team mates and they support me.  It is my dream to swim in college.  I can't imagine not swimming during the best four years of my life.  I will go to school pretty much anywhere.  I am open to all different types of schools.  My family will need financial aid and so next year I will be applying for FAFSA.  The majors I am interested in pursuing are Economics, Advertising, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations and Journalism.  I would like to go into some type of communications career after college, maybe get a Master's in my area of study.  One of my athletic goals for the future is to be WIAA State Champ in the 100 Fly.  Next year, I plan to drop my time down to at least a 55, and then I will have a huge chance of winning.  In the meantime, I plan to workout everyday and get additional AAAA times in 200 Fly and the mile to go with my 100 Fly, and make Summer Juniors in my 100 Fly.  I hope to make a huge impact on the team I swim for in college and maybe even set some records.  I also will be Team Captain of my high school team next year, and strive to perhaps some day be captain of my college team.  Again, I am interested in all schools.  I don't have any specific requirements.  Please contact me by email ([email protected]) or my cell phone (509 619 4855) and I will tell you more about my swimming and my future goals.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
