Abigail Surley '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Abigail (Abby) Surley.  I would make a good candidate for your team because I am a hard worker.  My whole life I was told you're not good enough,  you're not fast enough,  you're not smart enough but, one the best parts of my personality is that I like to prove people wrong.  I am originally from Huntsville, Texas, and in Huntsville, the only opportunities you have are to work for the prison system, for Sam Houston State University, or Huntsville ISD.  In the summer of 2017, my family and I moved to Bryan/College Station and haven't looked back.  Because of the opportunities I have been given since the move,  I have become more confident in both my educational and athletic opportunities, and I only intend to get better. I hope you will consider me to represent your swim team in the future!
