Hello, my name is Emma Hooper, and I am a Freshman at St. Benedict at Auburndale High School. My personal goals for my college career are to be more independent and determined. In addition, my required collegiate goals for my academic career is to at least receive my undergraduate degree by the end of my Senior year of college. Furthermore, I would also be interested in receiving my master's graduate degree, or even my doctoral graduate degree. I am interested in taking Business as one of my studies because I want to be a Medical and Service Manager.
This is my first year of swimming for my high school swim team. Therefore, I have goals to accomplish until my high school state meet in February. My goals consist of being in a final for one of my races, and I would also like my team to place top ten in the freestyle or medley relay. I also swim for a club team located in Memphis, Tennessee. My club team, Memphis Thunder Aquatic Club (MTAC), was top five out forty-four teams in the Southeastern Region. I also made two final swim races at the Southeastern Championships, the 200 IM and 400 IM. I have more goals for this upcoming Southeastern Region Championships as well. I want to improve in all of my times, and I would like our relay to place first in the 13-14 age group category. This is an exciting step in my path to college, and I hope this marks the beginning of a succeeding, new chapter in my life. Thank you for taking the time to read my Personal Statement.
