I have been swimming competitively since I was nine years old. There have been alot of ups and downs in my swimming carrier but I have worked hard to get through them and get to where I am today. My goal is to swim after high school.
I have just made my first Provincial swim time and my goal is to make Nationals by the end of 2018 swim season. I am know to be a leader on my swim team and have won our leadership award 2 out of the past 3 years. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working swimmers. I have recently been moved up to our AG1 Select group which is the the highest level within our club. I am training with kids 3 or 4 years older than I am, while it can be tough I love the challenge it gives me.
Outside of the pool my hard work is shown as well. I attend Mayfield Secondary school in the Regional Arts Program where not only will I graduate with my standard Academic Diploma, I will also receive a Regional Art Diploma and letter. I study hard and maintain a high GPA. In my spare time I volunteer with a number of organizations from Swim Lessons, to Race to other community events. I feel that you need to represent the community to you live in.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and in the pool. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
