Personal Statement
I started swim lessons when I was 4. My grandmother said that my sister and I had to do swim lessons because you never know what situation you will be in. The first swim team I was on was a summer league. I loved it but wasn't sure if I wanted to pursue swimming. I was recruited to YOTA when I was 8. I had no idea that I would love swimming as much as I do now. I have been swimming for YOTA for 6 years now.
My dream job is to be an Orthopedic Surgeon. I would like a college that would allow me to compete at a high level, while working towards graduating then medical school. My goal is the 2020 Olympics and/or the 2024 Olympics. I would do anything for the sport.
I am open to all options, but have a few I would really like to swim for.
