Rachel Kuenzler '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been passionate about swimming since I was 7 years old. In my varsity career, I have qualified for states since I was twelve years old.  In my club team, I have qualified for Sectionals since the age of twelve as well.  I have been within a second of achieving Jr National in multiple events.

I have suffered a great loss within the years with the sudden loss of my Dad.  Swimming has helped me focus on my future, as well as teach me to spend as much time as you can doing what you love to do.  What I learned from this loss is that I love helping others in the long run.  My goal some day is to travel the world and help those who have it worse than me here, on beautiful Long Island.  

My future goal is to swim on a competitive team, where my determination for success, leadership and love of the sport is evident to my coaches and teammates.
