Isabelle Pabon '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a good attribute to any team because I am a dedicated and hardworking student athlete. I love cheering on my team and other teammates and encouraging them to strive and work hard for anything they wish to accomplish whether it's in or out of the pool. I am a team player as this year I was always open for switching events so others could get the opportunity to compete, I also make sure everyone is psyched and mentally pumped to compete. Academically I am hard working and I always strive to do better than I have previously had. I am competitive academically in addition to my competitive spirit in the pool. I am also a part of our schools cross country team as well as the track team where I continue to show my qualities as a team player and a good sport. In the summer I work at the beach as a Lifeguard and previously I competed in Lifeguard competitions as a Junior Lifeguard and last summer I traveled to Virginia Beach and competed in the Junior Lifeguard Nationals, and the summer 0f 2015 competed in Daytona for the USLA Nationals as a regular Lifeguard for Monmouth County. I am a member of the U19 USLA High Performance squad and was chosen to compete at the Surf Rescue Challenge in Maroochydore, QLD Australia September 2015. My friends and my coaches motivate me to strive to be the best I can be whether is in the water or in the classroom. I find joy in being part of a team and going out of my comfort zone and pushing the limits to be the best person I can be.
