Alexis Carr '17 Recruiting Profile

Being able to swim at the collegiate level has been one of my goals ever since I was younger. Qualifying for Championships whether it is DI, DII, or NAIA and placing in the top 8 is a goal of mine. I would like to better myself in a stroke that I would not normally swim in High School in my collegiate career. I would be a good candidate for your team because I am very self-motivated and very easy going. I am different from normal college recruits because I come from a small town where swimming is not recognized and I do not have some of the training options that most girls have. In the off season I am very self-disciplined as most of the training is done by myself until my high school season in the spring. Academics have always been important to me keeping my grade point average above a 3.8.  If I get the chance to be part of a collegiate team I will not let you down. All my focus and determination will be able to be seen every practice.
