Personal Statement
No matter what it is I set my mind to or pursue, I am always determined to finish what I have started. This goes towards everything I do, whether it be school, swimming, or any one of my many extracurricular activities. I have an abundant amount of goals I'd like to accomplish both in and out of the pool. One of my goals for high school swimming this year is qualify for the Illinois State meet in the 50 yd free, 100 yd free, and the 100 yd breastroke. I have targeted reaching a 54.00 in my 100 fr and also plan on dropping my time in the 50 fr to a 24.50.
Outside of swimming, I love to learn about biology as I study the ways and origins of life. In addition to that, I have a deep interest towards computer science. I dream of one day pursuing a career that is a blend of both of these job occupations. I marvel at the very thought that I can someday create things to help further advance the human race in new and creative technological ways as well as assist people in ways that are not yet currently an option.
