I have been swimming competitively since I was 8 years old. At 8 years old I won high point at states. At 10, I was with my North Carolina team, North Carolina Aquatic Club, and first in everything at states. Also with NCAC I went to zones. At 11, I had moved to Arizona, and swam at states every year with Scottsdale Aquatic Club. I was top 16, at 11 and 12, but at 13, I was in the top 8 in my best events of 50 Free and 100 Free. My goals are to swim in college and go to a school where it will give me the best opportunities for both swimming and my education. I currently have a GPA of 3.78. I am taking ACT and SAT this fall. I am moving to Buffalo Grove, IL at the end of July, because my single mom has a job opportunity and we both decided that we wanted to move. I want to be able to keep swimming for the rest of my life, it is something that I could never give up because of how it makes me feel both physically and mentally.
