Katherine Duffy '17 Recruiting Profile

    I am excited to begin my college experience and hopefully join a wonderful swim program. I have been part of a swim team since I was 7 or 8 years old and hope to continue as it is one of my passions. Swimming has taught me many things about time management, teamwork, and accomplishing goals. I know joining a college team will mean I have to work harder than ever before, but I am willing to put time and effort in. Being part of a team has given me the opportunity to make some of my closest friends and accomplish my goals in and out of the water.

    My grades and my athletic experience have taught me what real work should look like and how to get where I want to be. I plan on continuing on to Medical School and becoming a doctor after college, so I am ready to work hard in college and focus on things I really enjoy doing. Swimming at the collegiate level would be a dream and an honor. I am very excited to be a part of that experience and continuing to improve my times.
