Katherine Wargo '15 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a college or university where I can have a great balance with my academic goals and swimming. I know swimming won't be my carreer when I graduate but it is how I define myself pretty much right now ' Katie the swimmer' so it will always be an integral part of me but not all of me. College is where I plan to find my path, who I am as a person and the career I will concentrate on. I am looking forward to that experience and growth. I am sure you will hear this from many athletes, but it is true, I give my all in class and in the pool and have learned through the 10 years I have been swimming to get it all done - and done well. I am a big believer in my 'team' and look for teams that have a bond and drive together. It is very important to me to work hard together toward our goals and have fun. I am team captain this year and look forward to continuing to build our team comradery and spirit and in that - success!
