Heather Heacock '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Heather Heacock, and I have loved swimming since I was 8 years old, when I began club swimming. Since then, I have continued to love everything about the sport. This will actually be my first year as a full-time swimmer. Throughout my middle school years I played recreational soccer and as a Freshman and Sophomore in high school I played Varsity Water Polo as well. I have stopped all other sports in order to progress in swimming.  I want to focus on swimming exclusively so that I may reach my full potential, because it is important for me to swim collegiately.  I know how to prioritize my responsibilities and have a solid grasp on time management.  I balance academics, holding a 4.0 with AP and honors classes.  I am a dedicated student and athlete and my passion for swimming is what drives me.
