I learned to swim when I was four years old. I started competitive swimming when i was eight years old. I did not think that I love the sport as much as I do today. Saying this, I hope swimming will help get me to college, so i can keep swimming there, and continue my path to the career I want. Swimming helped me deal with failures. It helped me understand that you can't always win, but you need to push through the rough parts, and keep persevering.
I hope to one day be a surgeon. I try to help as many people as I can, by volunteering in my free time; when I do not have school, swim nor swim meets. However, I want to help more then just to volunteer. I want to help people live for the next day.
