Samantha Estes '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Sammy Estes and I am a swimmer from the small town of Imperial, California. I have swam for 13 years and have been competing for the local club team, Imperial Valley Desert Aquatics, for 10 years. My goal has always been to swim in college. I am extremely dedicated, persistent, and passionate about everything I do. I love to be involved and sincerely believe if you do not give what your doing your all, you might as well not try. In addition to swimming, my prime focus is in academics as seen through my 4.33 GPA and admission to competitive academic programs such as the California State Summer School of Mathematics and Science and California Girls State. My academic goals include majoring in Biochemistry and then continuing on to medical school to become a pediatric oncologist. I believe in hard work and value any challenge that will better myself in any way possible.
