My goal is to swim for a DII, DIII, or NAIA team with a fun, focused, and hard-working team family atmosphere. As an avid CrossFit athlete, I believe wholeheartedly that the CrossFit lifestyle has given me the strength to become a much better, stronger, and faster swimmer; qualities I believe are directly applicable to becoming a competitive collegiate swimmer.
I am an excellent teammate, have a great work ethic, work hard in practice, and am always ready to race in any event my coach needs me to race. My teammates and coaches describe me as an always happy, hard-working, strong, prepared swimmer. I believe being a great athlete is secondary to being a person of great character. My Christian faith is the bedrock of my character and defines who I am in and out of the pool.
Academically, my goal is to continue to raise my GPA (from 3.73) and remain successful in my AP classes. I hope to study Sports Medicine or Kinesiology in college.
Thank you for your consideration!
