2016 Highlights Personal Statement
As a competitive student athlete I am excited about the opportunity to continue pursuing my academic and athletic goals. As a young swimmer I was always impressed by the work ethic and passion for competition demonstrated by the older swimmers. I've always wanted to be in a position to swim collegiately and I am ready for that challenge! While I will always be evaluating and re-evaluating my individual statistics and achievements, the value of being a teammate drives me even more. John Wooden once said "Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It's courage that counts." Courageously, I will accept every challenge and do all I can to achieve my goals.
