Personal Statement

Winning Dana Cup has been the highlight of my club soccer career. It was an amazing feeling to come back from a hard loss at Gothia Cup the week before and lead my team to a victory the next week. I spent 3 weeks in Europe that reinforced my love for the game and taught me how this sport brings people together from all walks of life.

Being a captain since 2011 has taught me a lot about the importance of leadership on and off the field. I have a strong passion for the game and am participating in a youth coaching program in the hopes that I can pass my love for the game on to the next generation of players.

I’m looking for a program that is competitive both athletically and academically. I have learned the importance of hard work not only from soccer but from taking Pre-AP and AP classes. I believe I have the talent, work-ethic and leadership skills to make a difference in your program immediately.
