Candace Derossett '15 Recruiting Profile

I have loved soccer since my first day at team practice in 2nd grade. Each season I have had the opportunity to play, I have strived to be the best at every task I have been given. Whether it be on the field or off the field, I always have an humble spirit towards my team mates and opponents. I feel my gift has always been my powerful shots and skillful plays and passing as well as team encouragement. Of course I credit everything I have to my Lord and Savior. I have overcome knee surgery and came back a stronger player for it. I play to win but win or lose I always walk off the field with my head up. My hope is to play professionally someday for the US Womens National Soccer team. I am an active member in my church and community and would like to extend my knowledge of Gods words thru the sport I love. I would love to become a part of future youth soccer camps used for outreach worldwide.
