Maddie Bowers '20 Recruiting Profile

As a current high school Freshman, my two goals were to earn a spot on the varsity squad and help my team make the state play-offs. After successfully completing those, my next goal is to lead my team to the playoffs during the three remaining years of my high school career. I am the youngest on the team. I have always been the youngest on all my teams. Rather than that being an obstacle, this has always been my driving force.  The need to prove my worth to my team has made me push harder to be my best on and off the soccer field.

Despite all the time I’ve spent on the soccer field, I know that I still have more to learn.  I feel that I have the drive, motivation, and desire to continue to learn and succeed at every level.  I like to be challenged, both athletically and academically.  I know that I can compete at the next level and would have an impact on that program.  As a leader on and off the field, I know a program is out there, waiting for me to take charge.
