Bailey Boyd '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was five years old and I aspire to keep playing at the collegiate level. I played club soccer from age nine through age thirteen, and at age sixteen I returned to club soccer and continue to play.  Throughout my high school career I have played varsity soccer and varsity basketball.

I excel on and off the field. I am not only dedicated to my team and teammates, but am dedicated to my academics as well. I have maintained a GPA of 4.0 for the past three years.

I believe it is my competitive attitude and my leadership attribute that will help me achieve my goals. I am always striving to do my best in all aspects of my life. I am very coach-able and am always looking for new ways of bettering myself. I try to lead my teammates by example, always having a good attitude, and showing sportsmanship.

I have a wide range of  athletic abilities on the field.  I can distribute the ball to my teammates and across the field quite well.  My foot skills  with the ball are excellent and I am fast; but there is always room for improvement. I am not afraid of the ball or of a little contact from another player. I work hard on and off the ball and I never give up.

I am excited to try to find the right college where I can continue to achieve my dreams and goals;  and where I can continue to excel both on and off the field.
