Playing soccer has been a major focus of my life for as long as I can remember. My passion for the sport began at age four and gradually progressed to playing competitively at age eight. To continue to follow in my goals and dreams, I have the self-confidence and determination to play in college and hopefully some day at the national level though the Olympic Developmental Program.
From a very young age, I possessed a strong desire to learn and work to become an exceptional student and athlete. Constantly putting forth my best effort, I demonstrate leadership qualities and model those of a good citizen. I am successful at managing my academic responsibilities with the dedication to my extracurricular activities. As a result, I have achieved distinguished honors, I am an active member of the National Junior Honors Society, and have the drive and competitiveness to excel year round in sports.
Through these traits of success , I am proud to have been selected for the Region One Olympic Developmental Team. I am well suited to play at the highest level of competition and I have the drive and dedication to be a team player both on and off the athletic field. I feel I have the qualities and characteristics that demonstrate my integrity, work-ethics, and personal convictions that have guided and molded me to become the player I am today. I believe I have what it takes to be a part of your university both academically and as an elite athlete.
