One day I'd like to be able to say that I was able to do what I have always wanted to. You know, to follow my dreams because dreams are meant to be succeeded. They are meant to be reached. And this isn't meant to be some cliché paragraph about how "I fell in love with the game ever since I was 5." and "It's always been my dream to play soccer at a higher level." The latter statements are true. I won't deny it, but I won't put emphasis on that.
When people ask me, "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?" I will most likely respond that I'm figuring it out along the way, following dreams, reaching goals, etc. Many people will say that you need some basis of a plan, though. Those people most likely have their whole life planned out. I agree, having some things planned out are great. I even have a small book where I write everything that I'd like to achieve throughout my life. I would really like to see the continuation of playing soccer as one of those achievements reached, along with traveling. Put those two together and I'll be set for life.
There are dreams that I need to decide on soon, though, like finding a great college that will help me pursue all my aspirations. Preferably a college that offers a great communications program. And maybe one day that will help me get the chance to help other kids make their sports dreams or any other dreams a reality.
