~~~~Hello. My name is Andrea Fink; I am a junior at Hamburg Area High School. At the end of junior year, I had a weighted GPA of 3.4 on a 70 to 100% grading scale. I have a strong desire to play soccer at the collegiate level and would be a great asset to any team, as I am able to play multiple field position and do not have a dominant foot. During this past high school soccer season, and for the second year in a row, I was the varsity team captain and received the Best All Around Player Award. Each year, as soon as my high school season is completed, I transition my focus to games and tournaments with my premier team. Due to my previous premier team folding I have had the privilege of joining the Penn Legacy-Black team for the upcoming season.
I have had a soccer ball at my feet since I was 5 years old. Over the years, I played for multiple travel club teams and select tournament teams. During this time, I was consistently playing at least one age group higher than my true age. I started playing, at the premier level, with BSA Rage in Reading, Pennsylvania. I joined Lehigh Valley United (LVU) at the U12 age group and I ended my LVU career on the 97 Elite Team; Coached by Lauren Calabrese. I am now on the U18 Penn Legacy - Black team. When I am not playing with my premier team, I play as a guest in various tournaments, attended soccer camps, and observing semi-professional/ professional men's and women's games.
The summer of 2015, I had the privilege of traveling to Canada to watch the 2015 Women's World Cup games in Montreal. Although we saw multiple games, at that venue, the highlight of my experience was watching USA beat Germany in the semi-final game.
I look forward to continuing to build my soccer skills and combining this with the next step of my education.
