My name is Lyndlee and I love soccer. I began playing soccer at age 4 and it has been my favorite thing to do since. Throughout the years I have played as much as possible whether it was rec league in the fall, indoor during the winter, or spring instructional leagues. I constantly strive to be a better soccer player through many different avenues such as always having a ball with me so that I can work on my ball handling skills in my down time, watching games, and passing with my friends whenever possible. I have been a volunteer youth soccer coach and this past season had the opportunity to referee some rec league games. My goal is simple: I want to be the best possible soccer player that I can be and I am willing to put in the work necessary to achieve that. In addition, I want to be a great teammate who always plays the game in a way that is most beneficial to my team's success. I am a versatile player that can play multiple positions on the field with the ability to play either side effectively. Knowing that my actions on and off the field reflect on the character of my team, I strive to play in a way that shows respect for the game, the officials, my coaches, my teammates, and the opposing players, to perform my best in the classroom, and to be a leader in my school. In addition to obtaining a degree, I believe having the opportunity to play soccer in college will allow me to build my soccer IQ so that one day, when I hopefully have the chance to coach my own team, I will be able to be the best coach that I can be. Also, because of my love for the game, I would thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to continue my playing career at the college level.
