Sydney Duggan '15 Recruiting Profile

My goals for the next four years are to join a passionate college soccer progam that is focused on winning a division title and making a run in the NCAA tournament.  My strengths are excellent pace, vision and touch on the ball.  I score with comfort with either foot and from any forward position or attacking mid.   While my size may be seen as an issue to some, my heart and desire (and my speed) more than make up for that.   I come from a passionate soccer family that has taught me the importance of being a leader and the best team mate possible, whether I am on the field or on the bench. I have played competitively now for over a decade, but this past year has been a breakout year for me in the final third of the field.  While my grades and enthusiasm are probably more than adequate to qualify for your program, it is my love of the game and my pure desire to become a better player than I ever imagined possible through joining the right program and coaching staff that set me aside from my current team mates.  I am willing to do what it takes to make your 18 player roster next year, with the ultimate goal of cracking the starting eleven.  If I can't do that, it won't be due to a lack of effort on my part and will only motivate me to do what it takes to improve to meet and exceed your expectations.  My ultimate goal is to make some coaching staff the best investment they have ever made in a high school recruit.   Off the field, I love to have fun, socialize and spend time with my team mates.   I understand the importance of character and integrity and make decisions accordingly.
