I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I love the sport and love playing soccer. I cannot imagine not playing soccer. It has been a goal of mine from early on to play in college. I plan on pursuing a traditional 4 year degree in Nursing which is my top priority when choosing a school. I hope that playing soccer at the collegiate level will complement my experience.
My club coach said that he selected me, especially because I was not afraid to pass the ball and that I was a team player. As I worked hard to live up to what he saw in me and improve on my passing game as a midfielder, I found my niche a few years later when another coach put me in Defense. However, my Varsity coach likes that I can be moved between the two, commenting that my strength is in being able to see the field and adapt. I am most at home in Defense.
