Jackie Podolsky '11 Recruiting Profile

I have been very passionate for soccer throughout my life. I am 5'10", 130 pounds. I was on the junior varsity high school soccer team my freshman and sophomore years, and am now starting varsity as a junior. The varsity team just won the district title; we also made it to the regional semi-finals where we were defeated. In addition to soccer, I also run track. In track, I received the award of First Team All AAC (Conference) for 4x400m relay and 4x200m relay. It has been a dream of mine to play soccer in college. I can bring leadership to the team, being a goalie I see the whole field and can help direct the game. I also work hard to improve my skills as a goalie each day in practice. I also play in practice as I would in a game; I take practice seriously. I am open to different types of schools. I haven't narrowed down to a desired major, but I am looking to pursue something in business, marketing, sports management, or photography; basically something with either math or photography. My desire is to play at the highest competition level possible. Playing as a freshman would be nice, but i am willing to sit if a school I like shows interest in me. I would also like to play to my highest ability and possibly make it past college.
