Hi, I'm Danielle Easterday, and I'm a Women's Soccer student athlete. I play for the Barberton Girl's High School Soccer Team, and for the High School Girl's Cleveland Galaxy FC team. I mainly play on the defensive line, but can also play a good defensive holding center midfield. I also have several years of experience at goalkeeper.
My goals for college are to play on the college team, and make it to the Varsity level. I just love the sport, and want to play competitively. I would make a good candidate for college teams because I play a very controlled defense, one where I contain, and am able to make the passes from the back. I also have a lot of experience at playing in the goalkeeper position, and have no problem going in if the keeper ends up getting hurt. Finally, I have played, and know how to play all of the positions on the field, but am most comfortable in the back.
I am a sweet girl, who is quietly competitive, and I spend hours upon hours on my academics to make sure that my grades or my GPA doesn't drop. Most of these hours have been spent on my AP Chemistry, AP Spanish, and Honors Pre-calculus classes. I have taken honors classes throughout high school and am also enrolled in the University of Akron, where I take college classes and earn both college and high school credits. A good portion of my time was spent on these classes as well. Outside of school and soccer, I have a job as a cashier working at the local grocery store.
