Emma Nevers '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a Senior from Watertown, NY.  I started playing soccer at a very young age playing indoor, club teams and with the Northern New York Academy teams, as we trained year round.  In 8th grade I was pulled up to play JV and started in every game for 8th and 9th grades.  As a Sophomore, I was pulled up to the Varsity team as a starter at an outside mid-field position.  I scored 7 goals and added 4 assists.  Our team had a great season finishing first place in the Class A Frontier League.  This year as a Junior, I was a starter as an outside mid-fielder.  I rotated between outside mid-field, center mid-field, and forward. My team finished undefeated in the league, and won the Class A Fontier League playoff tournament. I finished with 7 goals and 10 assists. I was also named a Frontier League 1st team All-Star.  As a soccer player, I know what is expected of me and I am determined to become the best player I can possibly be.  My goals are to never give up and to do the absolute best I can on the soccer field and in the classroom.  I always give 100% and will do whatever it takes to be successful, both as a soccer player and as a student.
