Erica Licari - WA...Personal Statement
I've been dreaming of playing soccer at the college level my whole life. I absolutely enjoy playing for both my high school and the NY Rush Patriots 97. We are a very competitive team - we won the NPL Champions Cup in July 2013 and after another winning season, we are headed back to the 2014 NPL Finals in Greensboro, N.C.
I have a strong work ethic and strive to do my best in everything I do, whether studying for tests and earning the best grades I can, or playing hard on the field at practices and in games. School is very important to me and I feel fortunate to have had such great teachers. I’ve taken mostly honors and AP classes, and have already earned college credits.
My goal is to attend a college that gives me the best opportunity to challenge myself academically and play competitive soccer. I intend to major in Biology and study pre-med to prepare for a career in the medical field.
