I plan to pursue a bachelors degree in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources. I am a great candidate for your college team because I am a hard worker who sets short-term and long-term goals for myself both academically and for soccer. My positive energy, coupled with my natural ability to lead allows me to an invaluable assets to any team and bleeds over into my academics where I set the example to fellow classmates. I am different from other recruits because I am a military child. Since I was 4 years old, I have played on at least 10 different teams attended at least 8 different schools. I've played against teams from around the world, at times not speaking the same language and I was still able to excel on the field, despite the language barrier, different rules and playing styles. I have mastered making friends, building relationships, and love when I am surrounded by people of different cultures, backgrounds and experiences. Being the eldest child of a single parent mother, who's job was not a 9 to 5 but more often than not, took her away from us for days, weeks and even months, at a time, I learned the importance of being responsible, dependable and adaptable. I may not always excel to the standard I would like academically but I never give up and I am a hard worker who understands that when something doesn't work out the way it was expected to, the most important thing is how I react to the situation. Ever since I was little, the soccer season was something I looked forward to. A new soccer season meant meeting a bunch of new people while continuing to do what I love. I am a great candidate for your team because I know opportunities like playing college ball don't come to just anyone and you won't be disappointed.
