Personal Statement

My name is Skylar Williams, I’m a goalkeeper from North Chili, NY.  I attend Churchville-Chili School District, where I played Junior Varsity as an 8th Grader.  I started playing soccer when I was 6 years old.  I have always known I wanted to be a goalkeeper.

For the last 5 years, I have played premier soccer with the WNY Flash Academy as a starting goalkeeper.  As a goalkeeper, I feel like a leader on the field as well as off.  I have high athletic and academic goals for my life.

In school, I am a member of the National Junior Honor Society, and this past year I was the President of the Middle School Bookstore.  I also volunteer at the Chili Public Library in my spare time.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
