Soccer is defined as a form of football played between two teams of 11 players, in which the objective is to place the ball in the net without the use of hands, besides the goalkeeper. Sometimes I wonder what the big deal is, why do we love this game so much? As soon as the thought enters, it exits. Soccer has become like second nature. I find myself thinking in soccer terms during the school day, and wishing that I had a ball to work with. I just want the chance to continue to define who I am by the game in which I adore. Ultimately, I want to become a key component in a competitive team that is willing to lay it all on the line for that one thing we've all worked for. I know that it will be hard, the workouts will be gruesome, tactical sessions: mind wrenching, and everything might not always go my way, but I am ready for the journey.
